Sonya is a Waterford native who started her legal journey in WIT where she graduated with an Honours Degree in Legal and Business Studies. She continued her studies in UCC with a post graduate LLB Degree and a Masters in Law. Sonya started her legal career and completed her traineeship at another Waterford law firm, where she worked until she moved to Heffernan Foskin in 2020. She qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and has always worked in general practice gaining a varied experience in the areas of commercial law, property law, wills and litigation.
